Hi all, Madge here for the first of March!!! This is the day that OCS kicks off the current challenge for the month. BIRTHDAY WISHES. We have a whole week of inspiration for you from the OCS Design Team, OCS Guest Designers and a few pop-in surprises.
I chose a Stamping Bella (Anabel Lulu) Stamp to share with you today. These images are very elegant.
Personally, I think they scream for black accents because of the girls black hair (or whatever ink you chose to stamp with.
I used a page of Webster’s Pages and fussie cut out a portion of the leaves to overlap my die cut. the image was stamped onto Xpress Blend It cardstock with Memento Ink (black), and then colored with copics. I cut out the die, making a mat from black and distressing the white with TH Distress inks (Dusty Concord). the flowers, ribbon and brad are available at OCS, along with fantastic prices and superior service.
I also decorated the inside of the card, with the same cardstock, and added a sentiment which says “
It’s your day. . . ENJOY!” A strip of border punch distressed with Dusty Concord along with the white sentiment label was added.
