Today, my card is a Tri Shutter Card using a stamp set called Spring Tulips, a stamp set of 8 from Momas Collection.
1. Start with a piece of card stock 8 1/2 x 5 1/2.
2. Along the top and bottom long edge, measure in 3/4" and draw a line from the 2" to 7" mark. (Cut on this line).
3. Rotate your card 90 degrees and score between the cut lines @ 2", 3", 6" and 7".
4. Score at 4.25" and 6.25 on space on the outer edge of cut line. The (m) and (v) indicate mountain and valley fold).
I chose to cut a mat from Chocolate Chip and DP (Magnolia Spring Blossom, from Michele R Designs) to embellish the card.
I also cut an image of Tulips and matted it with Pink. The matted and colored image was centered between the arms of the opening. A matted sentiment was popped in behind the image. Three bows were colored, cut out and used to embellish the back flap. Once glued down glossy accents was applied on top.
The Flower Lace was sponged with pink and added to the bottom of the card.
Materials used: Cardstock: SU Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, White Xpress It blending card. Memento Tuxedo Black ink, Copic Markers: R81, R83, R85, YG91, YG93, YG25. Glossy Accents, Flower Lace from stash, shaped die.
