Picnic of Daisies by Sara Kay

HAPPY CANADA DAY!! 

July 1st it is, and it is time for a new challenge at OCS.  This month Lisa chose our theme... "BBQ or Food".  Be sure to enter the challenge for a chance to win free stuff from the OCS store.
I have chosen to use a stamp by Sara Kay - Picnic of Daisies.  You’ll have to overlook my photography, as the lighting and such are not ideal here at the lake. 
I made an easel card, using the Stampin’ Up dies, and Webster's Pages DSP.  I cut a portion of a pattern on the paper to slip my image in behind for a 3-D look.  The image was stamped onto Xpress It Blend with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, and coloured with Copic Markers. The flowers were hand cut from a 1 1/4” circle and rolled – A dot of Viva Decor, Ice White was added to the center for effect.  The butterfly is the newest SU butterfly punch, which I simply drew a pattern on with copic markers.  If you are looking for a WHITE GEL pen – look no further.  The one that I used was a Sakura White Gel Pen…..and it never dries up, lasts forever and it shows up on whatever you chose to use it on!! 
I hope you are all having sunny warm weather to enjoy the weekend.  We are going to have to wait for the sunshine for a couple of days then it will be a heat wave! Winter coats to bathing suits in a day!
